I reside in Northern Virginia, am a late Baby Boomer, and work as a computer dude for a non-profit in downtown DC. My hobbies include reading, primarily science fiction; cooking - usually ethnic and spicy; historical re-creation; and firearms, both competition and recreational shooting. In the lifestyle, more than hobby category, I am a SCAdian.
As you might imagine, I am still processing what this means, how I feel about it, and my intentions for my vigil and elevation to the Order. This will likely take me some time. But not for the reason you might think.

Southern Tier Chinese School, a subsidiary of Southern Tier Chinese Culture Association, was founded in 2007. With the support of Binghamton University Department of Asian and Asian American Studies as well as Confucius Institute, our school has grown stronger over the years. Currently, the school offers Chinese language learning classes on 3 levels to students K-6 grades. Classes meet on Binghamton University campus every Sunday.
